ASC Integrates Part-Specific QR Codes on Product Labels

ASC Industries announces the integration of QR code technology onto its product labels for both the ASC and Airtex brands of water pumps and water pump timing kits. Codes appear on the part number label and can be scanned using one of several QR code readers available for your mobile phone. Scanning instructions and app links can be found at www.asc-ind.com/qrcodes.

Each code is unique, directing the scan to a part-specific URL where the latest in product and application information can be found, including installation instructions, product bulletins and application-specific links.

ASC Industries, Inc. has just released 30 new part numbers to its water pump timing kit line. The full offering now provides kits for over 43 million vehicles in operation; which is 90% application coverage.

Water pump timing kits are available in both ASC and Airtex brands. Each kit includes a genuine ASC/Airtex water pump and expertly-designed, OE-quality timing belt formed from the most durable materials. Plus, when required by the application, kits also include OE-quality tensioners, idler and tensioner pulleys, damper and tensioning springs. ASC Unveils New User-Friendly Web Site, Branded Packaging
